Team 17 has released Flockers onto Android and with that brings all of us the story of the sheep from the Worms franchise. The sheep, who up until now have been used as a weapon by the Worms in their war, are tired of being used in such a manner and are trying to make a break for it.
Flockers isn’t too far off from games like Lemmings in that you have sheep, who follow each other like a bunch of sheep, and you need to help them get to safety and away from the Worms. However, as you are probably guessing, this isn’t an easy task and considering the hazards that are in your way (massive buzz saws, pits of spikes, etc etc) you can expect plenty of blood to be spilled or splattered all over the place.
Flockers Features:
· Save the sheep by guiding them through 60 deadly levels.
· The sheep in Flockers are very talented. They’re able to fly up walls, jump over buzz saws & deadly drops as well as explode to destroy machinery clearing a path for their sheep friends.
· There are 18 different looking sheep that you can earn from the rewards screen using wool you collect along the way. Before long, you could be saving zombie, robot, pirate and even skeleton sheep.
· Facebook connectivity allowing you to see your friends progress on the map screen. As well as this, you can see their top scores.
· Flockers supports Google Play Games, and has 20 achievements for your sheep to ‘achieve’.
· Losing too many sheep? You can pause time on any level to strategically plan your next move.
To be successful, you have to save as many sheep as you possibly can in each level. Unfortunately, if you don’t save enough sheep, you won’t pass the level. So you need to make sure you have the path you want to take well planned in order to guide the sheep to safety.
For those of you who want to snag a copy of this game, Flockers is available on Google Play now for $1.99. Be prepared for plenty of blood and humor though.
