Fruit Ninja Adventures has soft launched on Android. Before rolling out globally, the game is now available in Canada for players to try out. If you’re in the region, get ready to swipe a flying watermelon into pieces (once again).

Fruit Ninja Adventures brings a new take on the classic game. It blends the familiar slicing routine with far more structure and progression than the series has carried before. Keep reading to know what’s new/different in this one.

Swish, swish, swish!

Instead of sticking to the same loop of chopping fruit and dodging bombs, Fruit Ninja Adventures is built across colourful worlds. They involve different puzzles and level-based challenges.

Don’t get me wrong here. The routine of swiping still is the main act, but every new stage throws a different twist. Some levels are designed around juicy puzzle setups, some focus on timing, and others just bring chaos.

The game also makes collectibles an important part of the gameplay than any previous entry. You can gather blades with your own special powers. Alongside the blades, you can unlock ninjas who come with different fruit-slaying abilities.

A big surprise in Fruit Ninja Adventures on Android is the emphasis on building and decorating your own dojos. Earlier Fruit Ninja releases were always about instant action with zero downtime. But Fruit Ninja Adventures lets you create spaces that reflect how far you have progressed. Every new dojo world has a different style and acts almost like a hub between slices.

The original Fruit Ninja and even Fruit Ninja 2 were built around arcade modes like Classic, Zen, and Arcade. The new game replaces that with structured levels, each with goals, puzzles, enemy layouts, and variations.

Older Fruit Ninja games were stationary. It was just that the fruits flew at you, and you sliced. But this game renovates that simple idea with another simple twist. What do you think about this new version of the iconic game? Check it out on the Google Play Store.
