Upcoming Genshin Impact 4.0 characters are slowly being revealed over on the game’s official Twitter page! This comes after the release of the latest Overture teaser that ramps up the hype for version 4.0.
With this being one of the most sought-after updates to come to the game, it’s no surprise that fans are patiently waiting for announcements over the next coming weeks.

Three New Characters
Over the past hour, the official Genshin Twitter account has posted small snippets of information regarding a total of three characters coming to the open-world RPG in the near future.
Let’s take a closer look at them!
- Freminet – Cryo
- Lynette – Anemo
- Lyney – Pyro
Now, Lynette and Lyney are two familiar names that have been floating around the Genshin community for quite a few months already. However, we now have an official announcement for the characters, and we expect to see them in 4.0 or 4.1 – though please take this prediction with a pinch of salt!

The Overture teaser showcases more characters, but there has been no further information about them just yet. We’re not entirely sure if the Genshin Impact Twitter account will reveal more about these characters later today, but it’s highly likely that we’ll learn more about them once version 4.0 rolls around.
Furthermore, we’ve finally been treated to more Arlecchino content. She and a few others caused a frenzy among players when a trailer was released showcasing the Eleven Fatui Harbingers not too long ago. It seems like the Harbingers will be a major plot point in 4.0, with Arlecchino appearing to be one of the main foes that we will face.
