The latest Genshin Impact summer event is just around the corner, and it’s looking to be a great one this year! The summer season is an essential time for Genshin Impact, each year HoYoverse adds a ton of new challenges, story quests, and exciting rewards to the open-world RPG.

Now, if you haven’t seen the trailer yet, check it out below!

What Does the Trailer Show Us?

The Genshin Impact summer event for 2023 is called “Secret Summer Paradise”. The trailer doesn’t provide too much information about the storyline, but we do get to see what will be included during the event period.

We’re treated to a glimpse of Eula standing before Collei in what looks to be a theater. If you’re familiar with Genshin Impact, you’ll know how rare an appearance from Eula is, so this really is a special occasion.

New Outfits!

Next, Klee’s new summer outfit is previewed – a witch-themed outfit named “Blossoming Starlight”. We assume that this clothing option is going to be obtainable through purchasing in the in-game shop.

Additionally, Kaeya is getting a brand-new outfit – “Sailwind Shadow”. This one is more than likely going to be a free reward during the summer event quests – similar to Fischl’s from last year!

A Jolly Good Limited-Time

Overall, the theme for the event looks to be inspired by theme parks. Evidently shown with the “cart ride” portion of the trailer and with Klee running into what looks like a circus tent. As usual, there are lots of activities to take part in throughout – each offering up a plethora of free rewards.

If you’ve taken part in a Genshin Impact summer event, you’ll be aware of the limited-time locations that are added to the game. This year, it’s the Veluriyam Mirage! It looks to be set in Sumeru but will have a special teleportation point for the duration of the event.
