The launch date for Capcom’s remastered mystery puzzle-adventure game is finally out. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, the nifty mystery adventure is getting polished up for a mobile release. From the mind of Shu Takumi, the person behind the Ace Attorney series, it was developed and released by Capcom in 2010. The Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective remaster uses Capcom’s RE Engine to make it look sleek with visuals in 1080p and a smooth 60 fps. It’s also getting upgraded tunes that’ll make your ears happy.

Also, the Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective remaster has brought out the high-res 3D character models that the old DS game’s sprites were based on. It means everything is going to look crisper and move smoother when you play! On that note, take a sneak peek at the new artwork!

In the game, you play Sissel, the funky, funny ghost. You’re on a mission to crack the biggest case of your afterlife, that is, your own murder. You’ve got till the first light of dawn to unravel this mystery. During the quest, you possess objects and hit the rewind button on time itself to sort out those puzzles standing in your way.

The game’s a cinch to play whether you’re on a controller or poking at a screen. Puzzle time comes in all sizes, from 3×3 grids to 5×5 grid challenges. Clear those levels, bag some shiny trophies and have fun being a ghost!
