Girls’ Frontline Fixed Point Event Trailer Out Now – Will The Dolls Get Their Happy Ending?

The featured image for our Girls' Frontline Fixed Point trailer article, featuring the Dolls from the game standing in a barren forrest.

The next chapter in the Girls’ Frontline story has been teased several times over the last couple of days on the official Girls’ Frontline Twitter page. Today’s Tweet finally showed the trailer.

The Dolls’ Fate Finally Revealed?

The Girls’ Frontline campaign is moving along surprisingly quick. After the state the characters were left in at the end of the last event, we’re all wondering – what will happen in Fixed Point?

The official Twitter page wrote “the stage is shrouded in uncertainty while danger lurks behind the scenes”. This ominous tease has got us speculating.

We already know from the story so far that the studio isn’t afraid to put the characters through hell, with Ange still missing and Stasi being in such bad shape. Not to mention the G&K main base is currently in ruins.

If you thought the Dolls had gone through enough already, then prepare for your expectations to be subverted all over again. And make sure you have a box of tissues for your tears…

Cryptic Trailer

The trailer itself, which you can find on YouTube, is a one and a half minute long montage. Commenters expressed how they thought it was difficult to find any meaning in the preview, whilst others praised it for being so cryptic with it’s imagery.

Shown at various points in the trailer are floating character cards, as well as the Dolls standing in the middle of a barren forest. There’s a lot of triangle imagery in the trailer, and at one point the Eye of Providence even shows up.

The Next Major Event

It’s only been one month since the previous major event in Girls’ Frontline, Poincare Recurrence, and we’ve already got another one coming. This is definitely a strange pacing decision from the developer, but if it means we get new content sooner, then we’re not complaining.

In a sub-reddit on r/gachagaming, fans discussed the new trailer, and in particular – how the English version of the game has nearly caught up with the Chinese version. One user, TheGrayGhost00, wrote:

After this EN will be only one major event and one side event behind the main story. The end of the story is coming soon.

This has made the English Girls’ Frontline fanbase very happy, and we’re here for it!
