Crunchyroll adds yet another Grisaia Phantom Trigger chapter to its vault. After dropping Vol 5.5 a couple of days ago, Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol 6 is now available on Android. Developed by Frontwing, the kinetic visual novel series carries forward the storyline.
The no-choice structure of the series returns with a fresh chapter. Like the previous instalments, Akio Watanabe is the character artist, and Ryuta Fujisaki continues to be the writer. There are just two more volumes after this one for the series to conclude.
Where’s the story at?
The central storyline of rebuilding the Mihama Academy is there. Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol 6 follows Haruto alongside Sengoku Ichiru, Ukawa Chihiro, and the rest of the first generation of Phantom Triggers.
They all head deep into the mountains to visit the grave of an old friend. The group has made this trip many times. But as the road climbs toward the remote site, the trip turns into quiet reflection. The memory of Aoi, Haruto’s master, settles back over them.
With themes of generational passage and decay, the chapter is a narrative built around intrigue and emotional weight. There are some solid character-driven moments accompanied by detailed artwork, soundtrack and voice performances. Watch the trailer right here to get a glimpse of the game.
Grab Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol 6 on Android
If you have Crunchyroll’s Mega or Ultimate Fan memberships, you can access the game on the Google Play Store. This volume is an interesting one in the story and kind of marks the first real hint of where the Phantom Trigger series is ultimately headed.
You finally get a clearer look into Haruto’s past and how it intersects with Yuuji’s storyline from the original Grisaia trilogy. With just two more chapters to go, Vol 6 is definitely a must-try.
