Hay Day is dropping a new charity event for its winter Give Back campaign season. Focused on animal welfare support, Supercell has partnered with US-based rescue and fostering organisation Muddy Paws Rescue for the event. Called Home for the Howlidays, the event is now live in Hay Day.
Help pups find homes and warmth
The Home for the Howlidays event in Hay Day aims to help dogs that are still waiting to find their ‘furrever’ families. It’s both inside the game as well as in the real world.
For the coming weeks, you’ll find your farm transformed by festive snow and special canine visitors. The event focuses specifically on Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes.
By finding and petting them, you contribute toward shared global milestones. Completing the full collection of dogs rewards you with 10 DIAMONDS. And by completing the global event, everyone receives 20 DIAMONDS.
Each milestone, in turn contributes to real donations. They go toward food, vet care, and foster starter kits for rescue dogs supported by Muddy Paws Rescue. It’s an organisation that works year-round to care for rescue dogs.
They connect them with foster families and help match them with permanent homes. The Home for the Howlidays event in Hay Day raises awareness about fostering while supporting the people who open their homes to animals in need.
To complete the in-game dog collection, there are certain activities that you can prioritise. These include following the scent of fresh delivery, producing bread and other bakery products, and opening a mystery box.
Other activities that help you get the dogs are spinning the wheel of fortune, collecting eggs from chickens, harvesting carrot and wheat, completing truck delivery, and collecting milk products. Catch a glimpse of the event below.
When does The Home for the Howlidays event run in Hay Day?
The global event ends on December 12th. In parallel, Hay Day is also running a holiday-themed Decoration Collection. There’s also a ho-ho-holiday Farm Pass that runs until December 29th. Grab the game from the Google Play Store if you haven’t already.
