Hearthstone to Enter the Game-Changing Year of the Phoenix on April 7th

Blizzard’s blockbuster CCG Hearthstone will enter the Year of the Phoenix on April 7th, triggering a whole new phase of the game with several significant additions.

Among these is Demon Hunter, the first new class to be added to Hearthstone since it launched six years ago. Every player will get the Demon Hunter class for free, along with the Illidian Stormrage Hero, plus 30 tailored cards.

There’s an Expansion Too

Alongside the new content Hearthstone is getting an expansion. Ashes of Outland takes place in the same setting as 2007’s World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, and features a central role for our new best friend, Illidian Stormrage.

There’s still more. Over the next year Hearthstone is set to receive a succession of expansions, updates, and features, such as a ranked mode overhaul, Battlegrounds updates, and so on.

You can pre-order the Ashes of Outland Mega Bundle from today for $79.99. Otherwise, stay tuned for April 7th.
