What’s New in Honkai Star Rail 1.3?
Well, three new characters join the roster in a brand new banner on launch day. This includes Dan Heng’s new Imbibator Lunae form and Fu Xuan, both of which are five stars. There’s also the four star character, Lynx.
There’s also a brand new area to explore in Aurum Valley, which hosts the new story missions. These will pick up right where 1.2 left off, and see you rebuilding Aurum Alley back to its former glory.
Fans of the Simulated Universe will be pleased to learn about the Swarm Disaster, a new batch of domains you can battle through for additional rewards.

What’s Honkai Star Rail?
If you haven’t heard of it, Honkai Star Rail is the latest gacha RPG by the makers of Honkai Impact, Genshin Impact, and, soon, Zenless Zone Zero.
It takes you aboard the Astral Express as you get to know a cast of colourful characters as you journey from world to world.
The combat swaps HoYoverse’s signature action-packed affair for a more methodical and strategic turn-based offering. That should appease old school RPG fans.
Other than that, it’s HoYoverse as you know and love it, with excellent writing, a huge cast of characters to collect, and gorgeous scenery to explore.
