Honkai: Star Rail is gearing up for a big update on May 21st as HoYoverse rolls out Version 3.3. Titled The Fall at Dawn’s Rise, Trailblazers will finally fight alongside the Chrysos Heirs in the last leg of the Flame-Chase Journey.

It’s all leading up to a showdown with the Sky Titan, Aquila

Aquila, the giant hundred-eyed bird, can control day and night with its eyelids. The story picks up right after the Chrysos Heirs reclaimed the Coreflame of Death and Reason. Now it’s time to face Aquila and wrap up the dramatic arc.

Over on Amphoreus, the locals there are chasing Era Nova, while the galaxy’s top minds are watching closely. At the end of Version 3.2, Madam Herta’s data spirit made it to the Vortex of Genesis. Now, that’s starting to bear fruit. As investigations continue, you’ll uncover what really led to Amphoreus’s fall.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3 also brings two new 5-star characters. First up is Hyacine, the chief physician of Twilight Courtyard. She’s idealistic, hoping to write regular people into the pages of history.

On the battlefield, Hyacine plays a support role as a Wind character on the Path of Remembrance. She even has a helper, Little Ica, who jumps in to heal whenever someone takes damage or sacrifices their HP.

Then there’s Cipher, another 5-star. Cipher’s been with the Flame-Chase Journey from early on, alongside Aglaea and Tribbie. As the inheritor of Trickery’s divine authority, Cipher’s gameplay is all about misdirection.

She’s a Quantum character on the Path of Nihility and specialises in targeting the enemy with the highest Max HP. She can even switch targets on the fly. Her Ultimate unleashes bonus True DMG based on all that recorded punishment. Take a look at them in the trailer below.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3 Lands on May 21st

The Herta and Aglaea are making their return in the Version 3.3 warp event. The Herta is coming back in the first half, and Aglaea in the second. Both are 5-star characters and worth picking up if you missed them before.

One of the unexpected additions is the Penacony Speed Cup Spheroid Racing Tournament. Players can race Spheroid Racers in high-stakes competitions. And then there’s Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King, which is officially launching after its beta run.

So get Honkai: Star Rail from the Google Play Store and gear up for the new events.
