Castle Clash is getting a collaboration with the world’s unlikeliest martial arts expert this December.
The Castle Clash x Kung Fu Panda event began in mid-December and is set to run for a whole month.
We’re going to assume you’ve heard of Kung Fu Panda, the global box office smash starring Jack Black, Seth Rogen, and Lucy Lui, among others.
It’s also highly likely that you know all about Castle Clash, from Lords Mobile developer IGG, given that the game has been downloaded more than 100 million times.
But just in case you’re playing catch-up, Castle Clash is a huge, slick mobile strategy game with elements of base-building, tower defense, and more. It sees you recruiting Heroes, forging alliances, taking on other players, and generally indulging your inner Napoleon.
This latest collaboration with Kung Fu Panda brings a number of characters from the movies into the fantastical land of Narcia. It features Tigress, Viper, Mantis, and—of course—Po, the titular Kung Fu Panda.
What are they all doing there? Helping to defeat Phobos, of course, in order to restore peace and harmony in Narcia.
Aimed at both veterans and newcomers, Castle Clash x Kung Fu Panda is designed to be both a festive change of scenery and a fantastic introduction to the game for those who haven’t yet given it a try.
For the entire month that the event is running you’ll be able to earn exclusive emotes just for logging in, while taking part in Panda Go enables you to earn Fragrant Buns that you can exchange for various rewards and gear items, and Po himself.
If you can’t wait, however, it’s possible to play as Po from the get go in the Kung Fu Practice mode.
Through the festival exchange event you’ll also be able to earn Leafy Bamboo and Bowls of Buns, exchanging them for a host of different rewards.
There’s more. Among the exclusive new modes in the Castle Clash x Kung Fu Panda event are Puzzle Illumination and Comrade’s call, both of which give you the chance to win an iPhone 15 Pro, along with countless other in-game items.
Plus, you can put yourself in the running for a $1,000 Amazon Gift Card (and an iPhone 15 Pro) by inviting old in-game friends to return to Castle Clash – you’ll both be in with a chance of winning too!
And, just because it wants to show its gratitude, IGG is also giving away a Companion Gift and a Deluxe Gift to everybody who logs in to Castle Clash during the event.
