Developer Wooga has announced a special crossover event with Wicked: For Good, bringing the world and characters of the musical into June’s Journey. The event kicks off on November 1st and will continue all the way through January 31st, 2026.
The event promotes the release of the second part of the Wicked film series from Universal Pictures. Starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, the first part was released last year. It garnered both critical and commercial success, earning multiple awards.
The land of Oz is coming to the hidden object mystery game
During the June’s Journey x Wicked: For Good crossover event, you’ll find June Parker stepping into a spellbinding new story set in Oz. That’s on top of her usual detective work.
The collaboration features six hidden object scenes inspired by Wicked locations, like Emerald City, Munchkinland, and Shiz University. You’ll solve mysteries alongside some of Wicked’s most memorable figures.
The crossover will unfold through the game’s Memoirs event format. You collect packs containing fragments of June’s past to complete albums and unlock exclusive memories. Those memories will intertwine with the story of Wicked, letting you uncover secrets in both June’s and Oz’s worlds.
The event also includes the classic Wicked anthem Defying Gravity as an in-game experience.
June’s Journey is celebrating its eighth anniversary, so October is a month-long Spookyversary event
Right now, The Sapphire’s Secret event is live and running through October 15th. It takes June and Jack to the isolated Hôtel Saphir during a thunderstorm in October 1925 with a ghostly mystery involving a missing sapphire.
From October 14th to 21st, you can team up in the Club Mysteries event for a chance to earn a gothic gazebo decoration. Then, between October 20th and 22nd, the Detectives Needed challenge lets you bring new characters to your island and choose between trick or treat themes.
From October 25th to 31st, there is a Halloween-themed Sweep the Board event, offering a special stairway decoration as the reward. There’s a lot happening; so grab the game from the Google Play Store.
