Kongregate Arcade app gets updated, brings multiplayer challenges and more

Kongregate has just released version 2.0 of their Android app where you can play Android optimized games from Kongregate as well as all the community features you can handle. This new update brings some great new features including multiplayer challenges, messaging and more.

There are a few big changes to the Kongregate Arcade app which brings some great features to the app. Multiplayer challenges allow players to challenge their friends to games in order to see who is better at them, competing for high scores. You will also be able to get real-time score comparisons as well in case you need to make sure you are better than all your friends are at any particular Kongregate game for Android.

Slap on a new messaging feature into the app as well and this brings a whole new competitive, and social, experience to the app. The messaging features are pretty much identical to the messaging tools found on the actual Kongregate site as well so there is no trimming of features for the Android version. You can check out the press release below for more details or you can go update the app now and challenge your friends.

If you don’t have it yet, it’s well worth getting considering now there are over 575 games available to play through it on your Android device for free.
