A Luck Be A Landlord Android version is now available to pre-register on Google Play. The game hit PC in January, and currently sits at an eminently respectable ‘Very Positive’ on Steam, so we may be in for a treat.

So what’s the game all about?

Rent Is Due

Luck Be A Landlord is a game where you gamble away your meager savings in the hope of making this month’s rent.

Does that sound a bit too gritty? Well, it’s not that bad. The game is a roguelite deck-builder where you add symbols to your slot machine each turn.

Different symbols have different synergies and can work together to make you a lot more cash, though of course that depends on if luck is on your side and puts them together.

Symbols may also have effects that can help you make your total. The total is important, as each spin counts down to the time that your rent is due.

Your job is to try and select the right symbols to make the most out of each spin, and hopefully gamble your way out of poverty. There are 152 symbols, 227 items, and 20 apartment floors, so there’s a lot to do.

Each run will play out very differently, and you’ll need to work with whatever you have to succeed.

No Real Gambling

It is certainly a lot easier and safer than developing a real-world gambling problem, and thankfully there are no plans for microtransactions, so you won’t be blowing real money on your spins.

If this doesn’t sound a bit too real for your and you want to check it out, then you can pre-register now via the Google Play page.
