Madfinger Games announces official release date for Dead Trigger on Android

Madfinger Games and their upcoming zombie-filled FPS title happens to be a game a lot of people are eager to get their grubby little hands on including us. Well we are pleased to be able to inform everyone who is waiting that you won’t actually have to wait much longer since we now have an official release date for when the game will land on Android.

The iOS version of Dead Trigger actually landed yesterday but instead of having to wait a few weeks for an Android release, we only have to wait a few days to start shooting and smashing a multitude of zombies in the face. We also know a little bit more about this rather great looking game. For starters we will have an overview map which will not only log our progress in the game but offer up new missions for players to undertake.

There are two types of missions, Random Missions are pretty much just as the name suggests while Story Missions are missions that progresses through the game’s storyline and are essential to finishing the game. There will be a shop where you can supply yourself with various weapons and items as well as a safe haven where you can watch your friends’ progress, view statistics, check out leaderboards and other goodies.

There are various types of missions to complete ranging from defending your location to transporting supplies. There is, of course, the much enjoyed ‘just kill everything in sight’ missions as well. Once you finish the game though there will be a continuous supply of missions as Madfinger Games plans to regularly update Dead Trigger with new content.

So when can you expect to get your hands on a copy of Dead Trigger? Well as we mentioned earlier, the release is only a few days away. You’ll be able to nab a copy off of the Google Play store on July 2nd, 2012 for $0.99.
