ZiMAD’s Magic Jigsaw Puzzles turns 14 this month, so they’ve launched some special packs to celebrate. It’s the Monochrome Puzzle Packs, that puts accessibility front for Magic Jigsaw Puzzles players.
What’s special about the Magic Jigsaw Monochrome Puzzles Packs?
The Monochrome Puzzle Packs focus on high-contrast, grayscale images. They are primarily designed to help people with colour vision deficiencies enjoy the game without extra strain. And they’re also meant to offer a refreshing shape-focused challenge for everyone else.
Actually, it isn’t just ZiMAD’s idea. The team took feedback by gathering responses from more than 3,500 community members. About 60% of them specifically asked for game modes that are more friendly to those with accessibility needs.
So, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles turned these requests into an actual feature by dropping the Monochrome Packs. There are three new monochrome packs, which are Feel the World, The Bright Side and A Different Look.
The Magic Jigsaw Puzzles Monochrome Packs are completely free and available throughout July on all supported platforms. It’s a chance to look at jigsaw puzzles in a different light, paying more attention to lines, forms, and structure rather than bright colours.

Alongside the monochrome update, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles is also offering another update. It’s an Independence Day-themed pack. After all, it’s July 4th today!
The Independence Day pack is full of bold colours and summer energy. There are a bunch of puzzles that celebrate fireworks, iconic American landmarks, traditional food spreads, and backyard gatherings. It brings all the little details that define a classic Fourth of July.
