A huge new RPG title has landed on Android from Spiderweb Software called Avadon: The Black Fortress. Taking inspiration from some of the earlier 3D RPGs that used to be popular, Avadon features a top-down isometric view similar to what you would find in older RPGs like Ultima.
In Avadon: The Black Fortress you will be playing as an agent of Avadon. Past the boundaries of your lands there are numerous hazards and enemies to contend with, keeping these threats in check in order to assert the rule of Avadon over all. However, things are taking a darker turn as assassins are killing off Avadon warriors while new enemies are now behind the walls secretly plotting against Avadon. Your goal will be to discover and stop whatever the conspiracy is before everyone faces total destruction.

It has been a bit since we last saw a large scale single player RPG land on Android, the last being Zenonia 4 and before that Zenonia 3 and Earth & Legend. Avadon: The Black Fortress sports an in-depth storyline along with over 40+ hours of gameplay and four playable classes to choose from. To top all that off, there are a variety of ending to the game based on the choices you make which gives this title a large amount of replay value. Wrap that up with hidden dungeons and secrets to find, there is a lot to do in this game.
If you are an RPG fan and have been waiting for another big single player RPG to land on Android, the wait is over, especially if you dig the old school flavor of RPGs from back in the day.
