TenTree Games has launched Mecharashi, their new strategy RPG. Available now on Android, it’s a mecha-themed turn-based sci-fi game with a unique part-destruction combat system. The game is developed by BlackJack Studio, the developer of Langrisser Mobile.

Line up troops

Mecharashi is on the war-scarred island of Milkhama. It’s where corporations and nations fight with custom-built mechas, and there are elite pilots who drive them. Speaking of the pilots, each one brings a distinct personality and backstory into the field.

The unique feature of the game is that it runs on a part-destruction mechanic. So, every limb of a mech is its own tactical consideration. Hence, you’ll be slicing through legs to stop movement, arms to disable weapons, and torsos to shut them down completely.

Mecharashi offers a high level of mecha customisation. You can construct squads by combining different bodies, arms, legs, and weapons to suit specific mission needs. You can also paint them in whatever style fits your unit. There are over 120 colours available from the start.

The game just had a closed beta test in the first week of July. So, whatever bugs had to be removed and fixes had to be done, have been done just before releasing the game. On that note, watch the latest trailers of the game here.

Will you try Mecharashi?

The visuals of the game are better than most other mobile mecha games out there. As you can see, the battles have been presented with a grounded, heavy-metal realism.

The game has different modes, too. Story mode, for instance, throws you into Milkhama’s complex conflicts. You get to command a mercenary unit that enemies might sweep up in events much bigger than itself.

Check out the game on the Google Play Store. It’s free to play.
