Erabit Studios’ Methods: Complete Edition has landed on Android. It bundles together the entire experience of the offbeat detective visual novel in one single package. You can try the sharp humour and quick-fire mysteries all at once without needing to grab each chapter separately.
Let Me Rewind What Methods: Complete Edition Brings
The Complete Edition combines all 100 chapters of the Methods series. That’s about 139,000 words, plus a bonus DLC. You get to meet 100 different detectives with their bizarre yet somehow believable methods. And face off against criminals trying to get away with their perfect crimes.
The ultimate reward is one million dollars, but if the criminals pull it off, they get a full pardon instead. The game definitely pokes fun at traditional mystery tropes, which is what makes it more entertaining.
On mobile, the game was split into five parts. They were (in order) Detective Competition, Secrets and Death, The Invisible Man, The Best Detective and The Last Stage. Methods: Complete Edition wraps up all five previously released parts.
Each section introduces new characters and new methods. The sheer variety of personalities and approaches makes the game quite engaging. Your small decisions ripple across later parts of the story, so everything is connected even when you don’t see it that way.
Will You Get It?
Methods: Complete Edition adds a rich gallery of background information, character bios, and behind-the-scenes interviews. There’s also an original soundtrack, and you can dive into more than 25 interactive crime scenes, hunting for clues and confronting suspects.
You can grab the game from the Google Play Store for $13.99. And if you’ve already tried out the other parts individually, then maybe it’s time you looked for something else. Check out our news on Crunchyroll Game Vault Adding Some Exciting New Games This Summer.
