Com2uS has dropped a new adventure game on Android called Minion Rumble. It’s a cute game, you can probably sense it from the title. You’ll be summoning a capybara with battle stats and fending off zombie-like hordes while casually sipping your drink. Yep, that’s the vibe of the game!

Where Is Minion Rumble Available?

The game is out in the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. At its core, it’s a casual roguelike with .io-style legion battles. There’s a Summoner, who’s the captain of your squad. And then there are the Champions and Minions with whom you fill out your team.

All kinds of weird but fun stuff happen in the game. You’ll see a bowmaster fairy and a war-hardened shooter team up with a cat Champion to lay waste to endless waves of enemies.

The gameplay in Minion Rumble is vertical and one-handed. It throws random skill cards and Champions at you during runs. You never really get the same build twice, so your plan to rely on the overpowered swordmaster might not always work out.

Outside of the battles, there’s a gear system that lets you power up your wand, arrows or sword as you go. There’s an offline rewards system which is always running stacking up loot for you.

There Are Some Fun Launch Events Happening Right Now

The first one, Pudding Paradise, is up until April 17th. It’s a quest-and-dice event where you earn Pudding Plates that can be traded in for rewards, including Epic Champion Selection Chests.

Then there’s the Puddiebean Fusion Festival, which is live till April 24th. This one needs you to collect Puddiebeans from quests and fusing them into gear, some of it being S-tier.

Also, there are pre-registration rewards, including 10,000 Gold and the Epic Champion Capyboo. Capyboo is a tanky little unit that’s about as durable as it is cute.

Minion Rumble supports seven languages and is free to play. You can check it out on the Google Play Store.
