Lightning Ball Studios has released Miscrits: World of Creatures on Android. The game was popular in 2010s as a browser-based social monster-catching game from the developers Broken Bulb Studios. It shut down in 2017.
Now, the new version is literally new. That’s because the devs rebuilt the game from the ground up to create the new Miscrits: World of Creatures. It already launched for PC and iOS in June this year.
Dive into the world of Miscria
It starts with Sunfall Kingdom and stretches outward into forests, volcanic regions, and other environments. You’ll find more than 200 Miscrits hide across different elemental types.
Every creature varies in strength, rarity and abilities. The rhythm of finding, catching, training and evolving them builds toward an ever-expanding Miscripedia.
The story goes as follows. A group of Magicites decides that all Miscrits must disappear so humans can claim sole control of magic. Their leader, Apollo Nox, has already summoned six Elementums that act like anchors draining the magic from the land.
Stopping them becomes the main task, with each Elementum serving as a milestone before entering the domain of Apollo Nox. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below.
Every region introduces its own pool of Miscrits and different routes toward forming a team. Training and evolving them gradually unlocks special abilities. The combat is turn-based, and you need to focus on positioning, matchup knowledge, and team composition.
Miscrits: World of Creatures also offers a competitive arena
It has the leaderboards, where you can experiment within the 4v4 battles. So, you can test your skills by competing against 3 other players. The game is free to play with optional in-app purchases. You can check it out on the Google Play Store.
