[UPDATED] Mojang’s TCG called Scrolls will be landing on Android on December 11th

Back in September of this year we posted about the fact that Mojang’s strategy TCG title Scrolls would finally be arriving onto Android in the near future. Today we actually have an exact release date for the game’s release and the good news about this is that we only have to wait about a week before it hits Google Play.

[UPDATE] December 11th, 12:06 PM- PST: If you have been waiting to play Scrolls, the wait is finally over for you. Scrolls is now available to download in the play store for free. The game does have in-app purchases, if you choose to take advantage of them. The link to download the game is after the article.

Scrolls, for those of you not familiar with this game, originally had its development started back in 2011 and has been in beta testing form since last year. This will be Mojang’s second full game release, the first being Minecraft of course. When we posted about this game coming soon back in September, Mojang has dropped the price from $21 for the PC beta version to $5 since the company knows that charging $21 for  game on mobile isn’t going to work out too well for them.

While this is a TCG title with combat that happens on a hexagon-filled playing board with figures, with pretty much every feature included that you could want in a game from this genre, Scrolls also features a crating system of sorts. It’s more like a Fusion system really because to create new cards you have to fuse three identical ones together. There is also cross-platform support so you will be playing against players on PC and soon iOS as well. You’ll also be able to access your account on any of the support platforms Scrolls appears on.

As for when Scrolls will be making its Android debut, this will be happening on December 11th, 2014. We will post an update once it arrives.
