Scopely is taking Monopoly Go into the streets of London with a two-day celebration called Dough Fest. Yes, for the first time ever, the game is hosting a real-world event outside the game. The event will be full of food, stickers and trading, which you probably had experienced only in-game till now.
When and where is the Monopoly Go Dough Fest happening?
The festival will be held on September 27th and 28th at the Truman Brewery in East London. It’s a free-to-attend event, but you’ll need to claim tickets in advance. Once inside, you’ll find Monopoly Go activities, exclusive treats, and even a few culinary experiments.
The festival is timed to match Monopoly Go’s first-ever Trade Fest, a global in-game event running from September 27th at 8AM UTC to September 29th at 8AM UTC. For 48 hours, the trading limit will be doubled. You can send 10 stickers per day instead of the usual 5, for a total of 20 across the weekend.
The festival is inspired by the Bon Appétit Album Season!
It’s an ongoing season in the game with new features, mouthwatering rewards, and community delights. Built around global cuisine and homemade dishes, it offers a Candy Land-themed Treasures event, Community Golden Blitzes and more.
Monopoly Go Dough Fest pushes the theme further by teaming up with some of London’s best-known food spots. Napoli on the Road, led by 2023 World’s Best Pizza Chef Michele Pascarella, will be debuting new pizzas made just for the event. Meanwhile, ice cream comes from Soft Serve Society.
Bread Ahead has partnered with food critic and broadcaster Grace Dent to create the Double Down Doughnut. It’s a mash-up of double chocolate, mango lassi, and chilli jam that attendees can only try by rolling double sixes on a real-life community chest.
Apart from food, you’ll also get to unlock in-game bonuses like sticker packs and free rolls. The first 300 people through the doors each day will also receive a physical Bon Appétit taster album. You can fill it with collectible stickers that you can trade at dedicated zones throughout the event.
