Niantic and Capcom are rolling out the Monster Hunter Now Autumn Hunt 2025 soon. It marks the arrival of the elder dragon Malzeno in the game. The seasonal event runs from November 17th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. until November 23rd, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
Malzeno will be available from November 20th
The first few days, from November 17th to 19th, are for hunters to gear up, gather materials, and prepare their equipment before facing Malzeno. During this period, certain monsters will appear in both field encounters and invasions. The list includes Deviljho (and Riftborne Deviljho), Legiana (and Riftborne Legiana), Brute Tigrex, Glavenus, and Garangolm. Deviljho.
There are several event-specific boosts in Monster Hunter Now during the Autumn Hunt 2025. Hunt-a-thons and group hunts will offer increased rewards. Also, there’s a higher chance of encountering dimensionally linked monsters.
Completing Hunt-a-thons will net double materials in the first and second reward slots. You’ll also get a chance to snag ten additional Rarity 1 materials from the defeated monster. Group hunts guarantee a second material slot in rewards.
The prologue event running throughout the same week, titled Autumn Hunt 2025 Prologue, includes limited-time quests. It challenges you to slay Deviljho and Glavenus or defeat monsters through group hunts.
Completing the quests provides Deviljho and Glavenus materials, which are essential for forging and upgrading dragon element weapons and armour.
Monster Hunter Now Autumn Hunt 2025 brings a small but powerful change. It’s the ability to use two Special Carving Knives in a single hunt. Doing so triples the materials earned, making it easier to farm rare drops and strengthen your arsenal.
When Malzeno finally appears in Elder Dragon Interceptions…
Malzeno is known for its sweeping, high-damage attacks and the ability to inflict Bloodblight. Defeating him will unlock the ability to forge a range of dragon element weapons across every weapon type. The range varies from Sword & Shield and Dual Blades to Charge Blade, Gunlance, and Bow.
