Monument Valley 3 is coming back to Android! ustwo games just announced that they’re preparing to release The Garden of Life expansion on December 3rd, 2025. And on the same day, the game will also return to Android and iOS.

The expansion will also be available across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Steam. Meanwhile, it will mark Monument Valley 3’s return to Android (and mobile) after it was removed from Netflix’s roster in July.

What’s in The Garden of Life?

Monument Valley 3 is about guiding Noor, a young apprentice, through a world of rising tides and fading light. You twist gravity, reshape ancient structures, and use logic and intuition to solve puzzles that blend art with architecture.

The Garden of Life continues Noor’s poetic journey through the world of shifting architecture and delicate illusions. It deepens the experience with new settings that shift between serene temples, crumbling ruins, and vibrant natural spaces filled with meaning and calm.

The new expansion adds four chapters with new puzzles. And for the first time in the series, you’ll get to uncover hidden optional puzzles, journeying with Boatem across a floating village to find them. Catch a glimpse of the expansion here!

Wasn’t Monument Valley 3 already out on Android?

Yes, the game originally debuted through Netflix in December 2024. But when Netflix cut down its roster with more than 20 titles, the Monument Valley series was in the list. Now, its standalone return to mobile, along with the new expansion, feels like a return to its roots.

Once it’s out, the base game will be free-to-start with no ads. You can play the opening chapters before unlocking the rest of the story, including The Garden of Life, through a single in-app purchase. You can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store.
