By now you are probably aware that Rovio has a new franchise up their sleeve based on the Casey’s Contraptions iOS game which they just confirmed yesterday that they bought the IP. Well we now have a few more details about what this new game will be and for starters it will be called Amazing Alex.
Amazing Alex will be based off of the Casey’s Contraptions game which Rovio is currently re-branding. In fact Casey’s Contraptions has been pulled off of the App Store since that game will no longer exist soon. This will be another puzzle game and Rovio knows already that expectations are pretty high for when the game re-launches as Amazing Alex.

If you don’t know what Casey’s Contraptions is, this game is a physics-based puzzle game but instead of flinging birds at pigs and destroying structure, Casey’s Contraptions is about building things. As of right now Amazing Alex is set to re-launch sometime in July of this year. Expect a similar sized launch for the game to that of Angry Birds Space.
