My Hero Academia: The Strongest has announced its EOS. Xin Yuan Studios just made the announcement. The action RPG is based on Kohei Horikoshi’s popular anime and landed on mobile globally in May 2021.

Published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation and A-Plus Japan, the game let players dive into the My Hero Academia universe, recruit characters like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki and take on missions in a well-crafted open world.

When Is My Hero Academia: The Strongest Shutting Down?

The game’s servers will shut down on March 31st, 2025. On February 24th, the game was removed from Google Play and the iOS App Store (for downloading) and in-game purchases were disabled. After March 31st, the servers will shut down and all official social media accounts will be deleted.

However, the customer support team will stick around for 30 more days to handle any inquiries. If you’ve made any purchases between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, you can apply for a refund before the servers shut down.

And in its last couple of weeks, the devs have planned a farewell gift for every existing player. You’ll receive a reward mail loaded with SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins. You can learn more about it on the game’s official website.

Why Is It Shutting Down?

It’s probably no more a surprise nowadays to hear a gacha RPG shutting down. My Hero Academia: The Strongest survived for around 4 years. Just after launch, it actually had solid PvP with no lagging, and the combat system had some real weight to it.

But despite its strong start, things fizzled out over time. No major updates landed since its first anniversary and there was a lot of mismanagement too. It’s actually impressive that it lasted this long without regular updates.
