Why haven’t we seen a roguelike mixed with a twin stick shooter before? They seem like such a perfect match. Fortunately for us Droid Gamers, that sweet combination now exists in our lives thanks to the launch of Neon Chrome.
You’ll run around a bunch of procedurally generated levels, blasting apart enemies and the environment. The goal is to kill the overseer, which is no mean feat. You’re going to die an awful lot then, but you’ll improve each time.
That’s largely thanks to the loot drops you pick up, which include new weapons, enhancements, and abilities. You can also unlock perks in the form of cybernetic enhancements which make killing much easier.

Because that’s what Neon Chrome is all about – an endless cycle of destruction and death.
