New casual puzzle game Tilt City is out now on Google Play

Tilt City is a casual game that’s now available in Google Play. Developed by Deebthik, the game appears to be the first by the developer, and is quite simple. There are balls begin in the upper right hand corner, and roll towards the center of the screen.

Each ball comes in one of four colors of either red, blue, yellow, or green. It’s the player’s job to guide them into the tube that is colored the same, so blue balls go into the blue tube, red ones into the red tube, and so on. Guiding the balls as they roll downwards is simple: there’s a large platform that is controlled by tilting the phone, and below each end of that is a smaller platform that is controlled by tapping; the lower pair work in tandem with both of them tipping in the direction pressed.

The goal of the game is to survive for as long as possible, with the player acquiring points for matching ball to tube. Steering (losing?) the wrong colored ball into the wrong colored tube causes that tube to disappear. If a ball falls in a spot that was evacuated by a tube, there’s no penalty imposed. When all four are gone, the game is over.

The game starts out simple, but gets more complicated as time progresses. The order of the tubes get re-arranged, for example. As mentioned at the outset, it’s available now for free on Google Play.
