New Rupee Bunny Skin Gacha Leaves Nikke Fans Disappointed

There’s a new bunny in town, and it’s not Blanc or Noir. As well as Viper getting a bunny skin, Rupee now has one too. However, the way to obtain this brand-new Rupee skin has caused a bit of controversy amongst players.

Now, Nikke is a gacha game, but the gacha elements are usually primarily just for winning characters, not skins. The Rupee bunny skin gacha feature is certainly an interesting addition to the latest update.

The Frustration

Understandably, this will anger a lot of players. Since the game’s launch, outfits have either been a set price in the store or a battle pass reward – which is how you can obtain the current Viper bunny outfit.

You need to pull on the special banner for this skin, and if you don’t get the skin, you get resources or free character banner recruitment cards. If you aren’t so lucky to obtain the skin with your free chances, you have to swipe the card, unfortunately.

The Rules

Level Infinite has implemented a few new rules for this unique gacha event. First, rewards won’t appear again, so once you obtain them, they’re removed from the reward pool. There are a total of ten rewards, with Rupee’s bunny skin included.

This, in turn, causes the drop rate to shift with each pull that you do. If you have leftover tickets once the event ends, you get the value in gems when it ends.

Ticket Requirements

Another thing that is bound to frustrate, is the fact that the amount of tickets needed for a draw increases each time. Let’s take a closer look at how many you need!

  • 1st Draw – Free
  • 2nd Draw – 1 Ticket
  • 3rd Draw – 1 Ticket
  • 4th Draw – 2 Tickets
  • 5th Draw – 4 Tickets
  • 6th Draw – 4 Tickets
  • 7th Draw – 6 Tickets
  • 8th Draw – 6 Tickets
  • 9th Draw – 6 Tickets
  • 10th Draw – 6 Tickets

You can purchase tickets from the Ticket Shop, with the prices increasing for each bundle.

  • 1 Ticket – $1.99
  • 2 Tickets – $3.99
  • 4 Tickets – $7.99
  • 6 Tickets – $9.99

One Free Pull

Sadly, from the looks of it, there’s no way to earn these tickets for free. We’d have hoped that you could obtain them via the Bunny x Bunny event missions, or in the event shop. Alas, that isn’t the case. If you don’t win the Rupee bunny skin with your first free pull, the only option is to spend money.

It’s quite an odd decision, especially considering how generous Nikke can be with skins and rewards. It’s obvious why they’re doing it, but it’s pretty unfair to the players in our opinion.
