The main reason why this event is even occurring is because of the upcoming sequel, Octopath Traveler 2 – due to be released on February 24.
What are the Rewards in the Octopath Traveler CotC Event?
This is a brilliant way to celebrate the latest release in the series, as well as give back to their loyal fanbase. Octopath Traveler is a beloved franchise among many RPG lovers, so it’s no surprise that there’s a lot of hype behind this second entry.
Let’s take a look at the rewards on offer:
- Day 1 – 10 Traveler’s Sacred Seals
- Day 2 – 10 Ultimate Training Tickets (1 time)
- Day 3 – 100 Free Rubies
- Day 4 – Sacred Seal of the Huntress and Sacred Seal of the Trader
- Day 5 – Sacred Seal of the Scholarking and Sacred Seal of the Lady of Grace
- Day 6 – Sacred Seal of the Thunderblade and Sacred Seal of the Charitable
- Day 8 – 100 Free Rubies
While the event period lasts just over a month, you can obtain these rewards by logging in for a total of eight days – even if you do this a few days apart! This way, you can receive every freebie without the worry of missing out.
Additionally, there’s a Photo Event that rewards you with a handy 100 Rubies for free! After you claim all of the rewards from the eight days, you can participate in 20 guides altogether.
A Mistake but a Blessing for Players
Interestingly, the official Twitter page for Octopath Traveler CotC has put out a tweet regarding an error with the rewards – but it’s good news for players! The Sacred Seal of the Thunderblade has been given out early, but the original date for this item will still go ahead.
