If you’ve been watching the Outerplane release in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines while green with envy, don’t worry, you won’t have long to wait! The Outerplane global release rolls around May 24th.
As we covered in our previous news piece on the upcoming gacha RPG, Outerplane is out in selected countries. Global releases can be a long wait, but this one is coming out in a timely fashion.
Armor And Aliens
So what’s Outerplane all about? The game is a 3D strategy RPG from the publisher of Epic Seven that blends fantasy and science fiction as swords and monsters mix with stories of aliens.
It takes place on the plant Mirsha, named by a group of extraterrestrials that touched down there long ago
Gameplay is split between the story and the battles, as you’ll take your squad through battles against all kinds of nasties in a turn-based format. There is an auto mode available, but if you’re the sort of person who likes to play your games yourself, you can knock that right off and get your strategy hat on.
Each of the characters is impressively distinct, with some cool designs, and unique skills and buffs. Some can even use skills to increase their turns. You can chain character skills together to make them even more devastating.
Special Requests Bring The Big Bosses
In addition to the normal battles as the formidable Special Requests. These pit you up against some really gnarly-looking bosses.
There are hulking fire knights, huge ice trolls, and even some really unsettling human-beast hybrid monstrosities to test yourself against. Take care of these guys and you stand some chance of getting your hands on some sought-after loot.
If this sounds like something appeals to you, you can head over to Google Play right now and wishlist it.
