There are loads of Kemco games on the Play Store, and when a new one comes along it usually follows a similar pattern to the others. Overrogue, on the other hand, seems to be walking its own path. And it’s a pretty neat looking path.
The game has the usual RPG trappings, but this time around you’re building up a deck of cards and using them to fight it out against monsters in tactical, turn-based battles.
There are roguelite shades here, and more than 300 different cards to collect as you play. So every deck you build is going to be different from the last.
There are treasures to collect as well, which can give you extra boosts when you need it most. And, as you might be able to tell, everything is presented in a pretty awesome 16-bit aping art style.
You can pre-register for Overrogue over on the Play Store by clicking here. We reckon it’s going to be a decent chunk of fun when it launches in the not-too-distant future.
