Yesterday we began rounding up the April Fools Day jokes and pranks we came across. Even though for us April Fools Day didn’t start until today, depending on where you live in the world April Fools Day was yesterday for you, hence the Google Japan jokes and Samsung getting in on the action as well. However, now it is April Fools Days for us and there are plenty of jokes and pranks going on already. We will just be keeping a running list of the funnier ones we see.
So Crossy Roads will be getting a pretty interesting update soon for Android. This update, which is already out for iOS apparently, will be adding all kinds of UK-themed content to the game when it does arrive for Android. So what exactly does that mean? Well for starters you can now be killed by a double decker bus.

Gamevil has announced today that their popular game in Korea called Dragon Blaze will be getting a global launch on Android this May 2015. On top of that, the game will have a pre-launch event where players can sign-up ahead of time for Dragon Blaze to receive a reward (an exclusive S-rank ally card) when the game actually launches. The pre-launch event doesn’t begin till April 6th, 2015, which is next week.
Bandai Namco will be letting Japanese developers pitch them game ideas with existing Bandai Namco IPs
Bandai Namco has announced plans to allow Japanese developers to pitch them game ideas and similar subjects that use Bandai Namco’s catalog of existing IPs (Intellectual Properties). These plans are similar to what Square Enix has begun doing recently as well.
Machinata is a new puzzle game from a game development studio going by the name of Neckbolt. This is their first release onto Android and it isn’t a bad little puzzle game at all. The goal is to guide the robot through each hazard-filled stage, cleaning up the radioactive waste properly in order to complete each level.
G5 Entertainment has released over 100 games on to Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore, most of which are free with IAPs. However, they also have a pretty decent sized list of games available at a premium price (but still include optional IAPs) and these particular games have had their prices reduced down to a buck.
TwitchTV has updated their Android app today and this update brings a couple of great features to the app, one of which has been sorely needed. This new update brings the Persistent Player to the app which basically means that video will now continue to play while you re browsing for content.
2K Games has just announced that they’re releasing a new WWE game, this spring. What makes this game different from the other WWE game by 2K is that the gameplay is that of actual wrestling (or as close as WWE gets), instead of a card based game.
