Last week Gameloft released their rather highly anticipated MOBA game, called Heroes of Order & Chaos, onto iOS with the Android release slated to launch at the same time. However, due to some server issues, the Android version was delayed while Gameloft worked on fixing those issues. Our friends over at Gameloft just dropped us a note to let us know that improvements have been made and a new release date for the Android version has been confirmed.

The recently released Xbox Smartglass application from Microsoft received an update yesterday that brings with it support for 7″ Android tablets. Up until now the Xbox Smartglass application was only available for Android phones and even then it wasn’t every phone but at least it was available for a good portion of them. Tablets, on the other hand, were completely left out in the dark.
This morning there are a few hints that Gameloft’s newest addition to the Modern Combat series could be on its way to Google Play real soon. Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is the next installment into the series and has been heavily covered over the past couple of months while we wait for its release. It now looks like we may not have much longer to wait and here is why we are thinking this.
For all racing fans out there, hold your breath as Repulze, a WipEout-esque futuristic racer, is due to be available to Android devices early next year. Developed by Pixelbite Games, the same guys that brought us the Reckless Racing series, the game will feature some glorious visuals and adrenalin-pumping, high-speed racing action.
Massive 16-bit retro RPG called Pier Solar HD reaches Kickstarter goal, could arrive on Android and OUYA
A massive retro-style 16-bit RPG called Pier Solar HD is up on Kickstarter looking for funding to finish the game. Originally designed for the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis as Pier Solar, this new HD version is slated for release on the Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Linux and the Dreamcast. Yes, that is correct, the Dreamcast. So why are we reporting on this? Because the Kickstarter project, which is fully funded, is less than $25,000 away from reaching its stretch goal which would bring Pier Solar HD to Android and OUYA with 5 days left to go.
Kemco happens to be one of the main publishers of retro-style RPGs and JRPGs on Android and today they have announced that a sequel to their Alphadia RPG is on the way, slated for release on December 3rd, 2012 onto Google Play. Officially called Alphadia II, this sequel takes place two centuries after the original game happens and, as you might be guessing, a new evil has arisen.
Based off of their Daily Deals website, Electronic Arts has developed and released a dedicated widget that will deliver up-to-the-minute listings of deals straight to the home screen on your Android device. When you launch the widget, you will have a scrolling list of deals that, when you click on the one you’re interested in, will take you right to the appropriate page so you can snap up a copy of that game quickly before the deal ends.
It looks like the release of Final Fantasy games on Android won’t be slowing down anytime soon. Last week we reported on GREE and Square Enix teaming up to bring a Final Fantasy game to Android and now it appears that DeNA and Square Enix are also teaming up to bring a Final Fantasy title to Android called Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade.
Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in part to celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the game as well as the upcoming mobile release. The video is filled with plenty of nostalgic footage to enjoy including a rather large man dry humping the air in a restaurant in front of two women. Of course that’s just normal in this game.
Continuing with this morning’s onslaught of Android gaming news, Chillingo has released a new game onto Google Play called Jelly Jumpers. This particular title is a continuous jumping game where you select one of three characters, who happen to be made of jelly, and then proceed to jump as high as you can until you mess up and ultimately fall to your jelly splattering death.
