Rumor is going around about the just leaked HTC Edge Android phone which will apparently have a quad-core Tegra 3 chip stuffed inside of it. Originally the Asus Padfone was rumored to be the first quad-core Android phone but now new information is pointing to that device being stuffed with the Snapdragon S4 chip instead.

It is interesting how things work out sometimes. While sifting through the Android Market looking for our next Hidden Gem, I stumbled across two games that fit the bill. One is a physics-based game called Raze while the other is a side-scrolling action RPG called Devil’s Creed.
As part of our visit to the ngmoco offices last week we got to try out a couple of new games that will be coming to Android soon. The first was Skyfall and the second is a neat strategy game called DragonCraft. This new game is in the late Alpha/early Beta stages of development but already looks pretty promising from what we saw.
Madfinger Games has been hard at work bringing improvements and more features to their Gears of War style game called Shadowgun. Currently in the works is multiplayer mode which will be similar in style, in the initial launch, to what you would find in other console games with different maps and gameplay modes like Death Match and Team Death Match.
Last week we went over to the ngmoco offices over in San Francisco to take a look at two of their new games coming to Android soon. The first is an interesting new RPG title called Skyfall which is just launching as a beta starting today. We got to sit down and play this game last week and it’s pretty unique.
Not too long ago Atari released their ‘Greatest Hits’ game package on iOS and at that time there was no mention that this would make it’s way over to Android. Well apparently Atari didn’t want to leave Android out of the retro gaming fun and have released the same package, called Atari’s Greatest Hits, onto the Android Market.
Not too long ago, back in the beginning of September, we reported on the fact that Modern Warfare 3 would be getting an application that would allow you to switch up your gear and a few other tasks in-game through your Android device. The new system, called Call of Duty Elite now has a nice little tour on video which shows a glimpse of the mobile app and how it will look.
Gameloft has released a new trailer for the upcoming third and final part of the Gangstar series of games called Gangstar Rio: City of Saints. This new addition also will come with a much bigger, more open game world which you will be able to explore, try out plenty of cars, find weapons and more.
Distinctive Developments has been making sports games for awhile now, some of which you’ve probably already played on your Android device if you follow their ‘Nations’ series. The newest addition to the group is Hockey Nations THD 2011 and it’s now available to download off the Android Market or Tegra Zone.
Previously available only through EA’s Flexion store and possibly through the Xperia Play app, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has finally made it’s way onto the Android Market for all other supported Android devices instead of just the Xperia Play.
