[Update: Released] PC Puzzler Tetrobot and Co. will be coming to Android soon

Developers Swing Swing Submarine have announced that their puzzle game Tetrobot and Co., which was previously released onto PC, will also be coming to Android devices in the near future. Tetrobot and Co. is actually a sequel to Blocks That Matter which was also released onto PC awhile back.

Update: April 2nd, 2015 8:06am PST: Tetrobot and Co. is now available on Google Play. Of course if you bought the recent Humble PC and Android Bundle 12 then you already have this game. If not, you can pick it up through the link at the bottom of this article for $2.69.

Tetrobot and Co. is an interesting little puzzle game that features Psychobot. This particular robot is an extremely tiny (microscopic) robot that was invented in order to repair other robots. This is done by having Psychobot swallow different materials (wood, stone, sand, iron, glass, ice, and slime) before spitting out blocks of that particular material which can be then used to repair the robot he is in. Luckily for you, it isn’t that simple.

Players will have to learn how each material will work together in order to complete repairs, reach new sectors and, eventually, beat the game itself. Beating the game requires you to get through all 50 levels properly. There will also be Google Play Games support as well as completely rebuilt controls and a touch interface for mobile gamers to use.

Our most dedicated players know that we always wanted to make a mobile and tablet version of ‘Tetrobot and Co.’ since its original release on Steam. It will soon be a reality and the game plays perfectly with touch controls. We hope mobile players will appreciate ‘Tetrobot and Co.’ as much as PC players did.  The approach we’re taking with the game incorporates one important design goal: no in-app purchases of any kind. – William David of Swing Swing Submarine

When Tetrobot and Co. lands on Google Play it will cost $2.99 and won’t have any IAPs at all. We will post an update when the game is released which is supposed to be by the end of Spring.
