New Pokémon and Shiny Delights Await

The Festival of Lights event kicked off yesterday and runs until Sunday, November 12, 2023.

Brace yourself for the introduction of Tadbulb, an adorable Paldean species that’s ready to make its mark in Pokémon GO. Tadbulb is a rare wild spawn, but you can also attract it with Incense and encounter it in Field Research.

Shiny hunters, get ready to shine brighter than ever before, as Shiny Morelull makes its debut during this event. This charming Mushroom Pokémon is all set to dazzle you with its unique appearance. Don’t miss the chance to add this rare Shiny to your collection.

Wild Spawns Galore

During the Pokémon GO Festival of Lights, you’ll encounter a plethora of wild Pokémon. Keep an eye out for Shiny potential with Pikachu, Vulpix, Ponyta, Magnemite, Voltorb, Chinchou, Mareep, Slugma, Electrike, and Litwick.

Morelull and Tadbulb will also make special appearances as rare wild spawns.

Egg-citing 7KM Gift Eggs

Gift Eggs are also getting into the festive spirit. Hatch Elekid, Magby, Dedenna, and Shiny Morelull from 7KM Gift Eggs. Collect and hatch these special eggs for a chance to add these Pokémon to your team.

Timed Research and Special Bonuses

Take on event-exclusive Timed Research during the Festival of Lights. Complete these tasks to earn a unique shirt avatar item and encounter event-themed Pokémon.

That’s not all—reap the rewards with 2× Stardust and 2× Candy for hatching Pokémon. Plus, Incense used during the event will last twice as long.

Field Research Fun

As you embark on your Festival of Lights adventure, keep an eye out for special Field Research encounters featuring Darumaka, Shiny Morelull, and Tadbulb. Completing these tasks will bring you closer to expanding your Pokémon collection.
