The next season of Pokémon GO is bringing some hefty martial arts with it, not just figuratively. It’s the Might and Mastery event which is kicking off on March 4th, 2025 in Pokémon GO. It’s running until June 3rd, 2025 and is full of action with a new Pokémon and a legendary debut.

Who’s the Might and Mastery in Pokémon GO?

Kubfu, the little Fighting-type powerhouse is coming to train alongside you. During the event, you can evolve it into one of its two Urshifu forms which are Single Strike Style and Rapid Strike Style.

The Might and Mastery season is also bringing Dynamax, so prepare to see some Pokémon growing to kaiju-sized proportions in battle. You can probably witness Kubfu flex its muscles in an absolutely massive way.

The real adventure starts with the Might and Mastery Special Research, which you can claim starting March 5th at 10:00 a.m. all the way through June 3rd at 9:59 a.m. It’s going to unlock in stages over the season, so keep checking your research tab so that you don’t miss out on all the good stuff.

Then there’s the Powerful Potential event, running from March 5th to March 10th. This is when Kubfu officially steps into the Pokémon GO ring, making its grand debut. The little warrior cannot be traded, sent to the professor or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

On the other hand, the big leagues, Six-Star Max Battles, will bring out Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. You can take on Gothita, Solosis, and Sinistea in One-Star Raids, while Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Sableye show up in Three-Star Raids.
