A new Pokémon is sneaking into your research records in and this one comes with a serious bite. It’s Mawile, who is making its debut in Pokémon Sleep. And there’s also the Packed Portions Cooking Week, which starts next week.
Here’s When Mawile Debuts in Pokémon Sleep
Starting June 9th, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., Mawile will begin appearing through Pokémon Sleep research. If you’re exploring Greengrass Isle, Taupe Hollow, or Old Gold Power Plant, keep an eye out during your Slumbering-type rest sessions.
The steel-type Pokémon has a main skill called Hyper Cutter, also known as Ingredient Draw S. It lets Mawile pull in one type of ingredient at random. And on lucky occasions, it can even grab more ingredients than usual.
June 9th also marks the start of the Packed Portions Cooking Week Part 1 event. Running until June 16th, the event focuses on helper Pokémon with an Ingredients speciality. All areas are included in the event, and cooking mechanics are getting a temporary boost across the board.
During the event, cooking pots will expand by 50 percent every day and go up to 200 percent on Sunday. Pokémon will recover 5 extra Energy from meals. If your helpers have Ingredient Magnet S or Ingredient Draw S skills, their effects will be multiplied by 1.5.
Strength gains from dishes will get a 1.5x multiplier by default, rising to 3x for Extra Tasty dishes and up to 4.5x for Extra Tasty ones made on Sunday. Pokémon with the Ingredients speciality will bring one extra ingredient each time they go on their regular ingredient runs.

The Mini Candy Boost function will be active for a limited time. It costs fewer Dream Shards than the regular Candy Boost. It doubles the EXP earned from candies, though it uses four times as many Dream Shards per candy.
Meanwhile, more Pokémon will be joining your research in Pokémon Sleep besides Mawile. You’ll encounter Pokémon like Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gastly, Pinsir, Eevee, Dratini, Wooper, Murkrow, Aron, Heracross, Delibird, Happiny, Sprigatito, and Fuecoco.
