The Lost Ship, the island-based point and click adventure game from developer Syntaxity, is free right now on Google Play. It normally costs $3.99.
While it was largely ignored by mobile game journalists, The Lost Ship is hugely popular with casual players. It’s currently sitting on close to 13,000 user reviews on Google Play, with an average rating of 4.6.
The game sees you exploring a desert island in search of clues and puzzle solutions. The graphics are high res but still, so that you end up flicking between different single-screen locations. It’s not particularly cool or clever, like The Silent Age or Thimbleweed Park, but the puzzles are well designed.
