Mimicking real-world prison life, your sentencing marks the beginning of a new lifestyle. Enrolled by a gang, you’ll become a lackey tasked with smuggling contraband to stash and later distribute.
It isn’t cheap, and your fellow convicts might not be as courteous as you, and may refuse to pay, causing conflict.
Money in jail is harder to come by. Make dealings using rations such as noodles and what little cash you can wire from transferring bank to prison credit accounts.

Target and battle other groups for map dominance to strengthen your gang loyalty. Gain trust, make enemies, and rise in the ranks to find out who controls what areas around the prison. Strategise your next moves to disrupt their hustle and charge them tax.
Territory, valuables, and currency cause a lot of friction between gangs, often leading to scraps, grudges, or all-out wars. Assuming you survive the riot, you’ll likely get searched by officers for contraband and weapons. Let’s hope your stash spot is secure!
Tackle dilemmas at inconvenient times. For example, a member of your gang wants your help in a fight, but you’re carrying. Do you risk losing contraband to help, or walk away and accept the loss of reputation?
Monitor and manage your gang through planned interactions, whilst also maintaining yourself through commissionary meals, family visits, and contraband tattoos.

The Research Behind Prison Gang Wars
There’s more to life in prison than what we see on TV. To ensure the game feels authentic yet engaging, with its tricky tasks and internal conflict between inmates and guards, the DEV behind Prison Gang Wars researched nine books, scrolled prison forums, and watched documented videos from ex-convicts for hours.
All of this for a grungy, well-developed game of strife, strategy, and survival to be brought to life. Prison Gang Wars immerses with its vibrant, nostalgic comic-book style with deep shading and 3D isometric models.
