There’s a new Project Mugen trailer in town! Well, it’s more or less a trailer. Some of the staff behind the game talk us over some of the main aspects of environmental exploration – and it looks fantastic.

The New Project Mugen Trailer!

Now, Project Mugen is looking to be a great gacha game filled to the brim with excellent world-building and characters. Some onlookers are a little skeptical, thinking that it looks “too good to be true” but look at Genshin Impact! That game also initially looked overly ambitious, and it’s now one of the most popular titles in the gaming world.

Exciting Exploration

The appeal of Project Mugen certainly comes with the vibrant metropolis – but that’s where the exploration factors come into play.

Swing across skyscrapers, run along the sides of buildings, and expertly land back on the ground as you traverse the cityscape. Not only that, but you can also interact with and drive vehicles that you come across as you walk down the street – an extremely unique approach to in-game travel within a gacha title.

Interactive Objects and Cats

From the video, we also get a sneak peek into the largely interactive urban landscape. Nearly all items found throughout the map can be destroyed, allowing for immersive combat as you battle in the city. Plus, you can pick up cats.

Stroll through the bustling streets to find the arcade, where you can interact with the claw machines – and from the recent trailer, you’re more likely to win a prize than the ones we have in real life.

It’s clear to see that the Project Mugen team is working hard to create a lively urbanscape that feels realistic whilst retaining a cyberpunk-ish style. While it does look like an ambitious project, we hope that it can live up to the hype when we finally get to play!

As of right now, there are no announcements regarding the game’s release date. However, make sure to bookmark Droid Gamers so you can stay in the loop with all of the latest Project Mugen news.
