Mythical Games has dropped a new game on Android. It’s called Pudgy Party – Battle Royale, where penguins are waddling into a battle royale. The publisher’s previous titles are mostly sports titles, like NFL Rivals 26 Mobile Football, FIFA Rivals – Mobile Football and Nitro Nation World Tour (a car racing game).
The name and the characters are probably giving it away already. But if you’re still unaware, the game is based on the characters Pudgy Penguins.
How many players does Pudgy Party – Battle Royale accommodate at once?
Up to 20 players compete in each match, racing through icy platforms and dodging swinging hammers. All of that to stay ahead of rivals in the hope of being the last penguin standing.
The game offers different modes. You can dive in solo or team up with friends across a mix of maps, levels, and game types. Some rounds test your speed in fast sprints to the finish, while others are about survival, as mistakes can send you tumbling into elimination.
On the customisation front, you’ll be able to unlock costumes, accessories, and emotes that give your character its own personality. The pudgy birds can rock a scarf, a goofy hat, or something as absurd as a hotdog outfit.
Take a look at Pudgy Party – Battle Royale below.
It’s very much in the same spirit as Fall Guys or Stumble Guys
The game also brings some social features. Races are part of a larger party atmosphere, where joining friends is just as important as winning. Seasonal events are there as well, with new collectibles and costumes.
You can even watch replays of your funniest fails, making those dramatic wipeouts part of the entertainment. The game includes NFTs as well, but you can totally avoid that aspect and just soak up the silliness, if you want to.
Check out the game on the Google Play Store. And be sure to read our news on Destiny: Rising.
