GungHo Online Entertainment’s Puzzle & Dragons has dropped a new crossover with Kaiju No. 8. The collab begins today and runs until November 30th. You’ll spot familiar officers from the Japan Anti Kaiju Defense Force.
What’s in store in the Puzzle & Dragons x Kaiju No. 8 collab?
You get to recruit characters from the Kaiju No. 8 universe using Magic Stones. Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, Gen Narumi, Mina Ashiro, Soshiro Hoshina, and Kikoru Shinomiya are joining the roster.
Some of these picks even have Assist Evolutions this time, so teams can get surprisingly versatile. The Login Stamps lets you log in for a total of 10 days for two pulls from the Kaiju No. 8 Egg Machine. Every pull in that machine costs 7 Magic Stones.
Seven new dungeons are available during the Puzzle & Dragons x Kaiju No. 8 crossover. The Kaiju No. 8 Quest sits inside the Event Quest lineup and stays active for the entire run. You can earn up to 10 Magic Stones as Quest Level Rewards by clearing all 10 levels.
Kaiju No. 8 Novice and Kaiju No. 8 Expert show up in the Special Dungeons, handing out Kaiju No. 8 Collab Medals. Novice drops 1 billion Coins as mission rewards for clearing each floor. And finishing the whole set grants Kafka Hibino and Reno Ichikawa as a reward.
More pressure comes from Identified Kaiju, Kaiju No. 9 Descended!
Here, Kaiju No. 9 waits as a dungeon boss. Beating it guarantees the Identified Kaiju Kaiju No. 9 drop and hands out Quest Rewards like the 7-star plus Kaiju No. 8 Egg Machine. This dungeon also supports both Solo and 3 Player Multiplayer.
The [Third Division] Title Challenge throws you into a fixed team scenario with a strict time limit. Clearing it gives the [Third Division] title along with 2 times Kaiju No. 8 Collab Medal Rainbow. So, get the game from the Google Play Store.
