Up, Down, Left, Right is an endless puzzle rhythm game. The conceit of the game is somewhat difficult to explain but I’ll try anyways. Players are tasked with pressing up, down, left, and right in order to the beat that is being played.
The challenge comes in as you progress through the game because as the blocks fal,l they will tell you to type in another key to substitute the usual key. For example when you type left you will type up instead or any other combination.
The games’s developer Simon Byron was inspired by games like Papers Please and Super Hexagon, saying it is a “bastard child” of those two titles. You can play Up, Down, Left, Right for free by downloading it from Google Play.
