Radiohead takes their song Bloom and builds a strange but cool game to play out of it

Radiohead, as in the actual band, has teamed up with Universal Everything to create a game called Polyfauna. This is a bit of an experimental game and app that has arrived onto Android and is an audiovisual journey more than anything else.

This game is based off of the band’s song Bloom and it is actually where the sounds and dreamy landscapes are taken from. So what exactly is this game about? It’s about an ever evolving world where players will be traveling across bumpy landscapes that becomes populated with flora and bare trees as time passes.

This could be classified as a game or an app. Either way it is pretty interesting and you’ll be using your phone’s gyroscope to move in the game’s first-person perspective while listen to the tunes. Touching the screen touch the screen will let you draw 3D lines and move forward in whatever direction you happen to be facing.

For those of you wanting to check out this weird app/game, Polyfauna is available off of Google Play for free.
