Gravity Interactive has officially opened pre-registration for Ragnarok M: Classic Global on mobile. The game was previously only available in Southeast Asia, where it launched in mid-April. And with the upcoming Closed Beta Test, players in North America and Europe will get to dive into the game for the first time.

What’s the game like?

Ragnarok M: Classic Global keeps things simple and fair by completely removing daily and weekly paid packs, eliminating gacha mechanics, and avoiding microtransactions altogether. Yep, that’s a big promise that the game makes.

Every player gets access to a free monthly premium pass that brings perks like increased EXP rates, better drop rates, and an offline battle system to keep your character progressing around the clock.

A big highlight is the commitment to a Zeny-only economy. Zeny is the in-game currency, in case you are new to the world of Ragnarok. Everything in the game, from powerful gear to rare MVP cards, can be earned and traded using Zeny.

The game offers six classic jobs that can all be upgraded to Tier 3. Once you unlock these jobs, you can switch between them freely. It’s a balanced system where you can adapt quickly to any challenge in both PvE and PvP.

There’s also a robust card crafting system. It lets you hunt monsters, minis, and MVPs to collect materials and craft powerful cards weekly. Meanwhile, equipment refinement up to +15 comes with a 100% success rate.

Pre-registration for Ragnarok M: Classic Global is now live

The game includes team instances where groups can face tough bosses together and score big rewards. Guilds are there too, encouraging you to tackle larger challenges as a team.

You can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store. It’s expected to drop in September first week, and will be free to play.
