After revealing the Year 11 Roadmap a couple of weeks ago, Ubisoft has finally dropped Rainbow Six Mobile on Android. The tactical shooter universe has a new addition, bringing Tom Clancy’s creation to Android with its signature 5v5 gameplay.
Rainbow Six Mobile is a competitive online tactical action shooter FPS on Android
It adapts the structure of Rainbow Six Siege into shorter, portable sessions. It has 5v5 multiplayer FPS matches inspired by Siege’s established Attack vs Defence format. Each round requires you to alternate roles between Attacker and Defender.
The mobile version recreates much of the core Rainbow Six experience by bringing established maps such as Bank, Clubhouse, Border, Oregon, and Villa. As in Siege, attackers need to gather intel and breach fortified positions, while defenders reinforce, surveil, and reshape their surroundings to hold ground.
Destruction plays a central role. You can break open walls, doors, and hatches to create new lines of sight or unexpected entry points. Drones and cameras provide reconnaissance options, and methodical angle clearing remains essential.
Operators, drawn from Rainbow Six Siege, anchor team composition. The mobile title also follows a recurring content cadence with a new monthly season. Each month introduces fresh Operators, Battle Pass content, limited-time online modes, events, and cosmetics.
Meanwhile, Year 11 begins with Season One: Operation Silent Hunt on March 3rd
Among the headline additions is Solid Snake, who joins the roster as an attacker. The character originates from KONAMI’s Metal Gear Solid series, marking a crossover between franchises as part of the new cycle.
So, do check out Rainbow Six Mobile on Android via the Google Play Store. The game lets you customise your HUD and adjust control layouts to suit individual playstyles. It supports controller compatibility. Also, this month, a new Operator named Deimos joins the attack roster, bringing the DeathMARK Tracker gadget into play.
